Title: The Pitfalls of Dating a Prince
Author: Erin Olivier
Release Date: April 24, 2025

Synopsis
Born the second son, Prince Nicholai lived as the spare until his
father's sudden death thrust him into the role of the heir. With
mounting pressure to meet royal expectations, the monarchy's
PR team rushes to overhaul Nick's notorious playboy image.
The solution? Debut his first serious relationship. The problem?
He doesn't have one. But what he does have is a secret obsession
with the woman he met on vacation.

Willa Radford is America's sweetheart, but beneath her
glamorous exterior lies a woman haunted by her past. When she
meets Nick, she's not looking for love, but his magnetic pull
becomes impossible to resist. Giving into temptation, their
carefree fling quickly turns serious—until it ends just as
suddenly as it began.

When their lives collide again, Nick and Willa must decide if
their love is strong enough for a fairy tale ending, or if their
pasts will continue to dictate their future.

mother, Erin spent her time ignoring the housework in favor of putting words to the characters who reside in her imagination. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, playing
Wordle, listening to true crime podcasts, drinking wine, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their ornery pup, Dolly. They reside in a small town on the Texas coast.

She  write the type of books that She enjoy reading and doing so makes her extraordinarily happy.
It’s her hope that you’ll enjoy them as much as she does.

Q&A

1. Introduction/ What inspired you to start writing? I started writing when the pandemic hit in early 2020. With the world shutting down and the news feeling overwhelmingly dark, I needed a new creative outlet. Something that I could do at home and that would bring a little joy into my life. Writing romance became that escape. There's something so comforting in the predictability of the genre. No matter what hardships the characters face, they always find their happily ever after. Once I started, I realized how much I loved dreaming up these characters and bringing their stories to life. One book turned into two, then three… and I just never stopped.

2. Can you tell us about the challenges or surprises you faced while writing The Pitfalls of Dating a Prince? Whew, so about two weeks before I sent Pitfalls out to ARC readers, I woke up in the middle of the night with the sinking realization that I needed to do a major revision. There was one part of the story that just wasn't sitting right with me, so I changed the outcome of one of the plotlines. It was a chaotic week of revisions, but I think the story came out for the better. (But I hope I never do that to myself again!)

3. How do you handle writer's block or creative slumps? My brain is very ADHD, so to deal with creative slumps, I tend to bounce around between projects. As soon as I begin to feel my interest in a project waning, I pause and shift to a different one. I find this distance helpful because when I pick up an older project again, it feels like I'm looking at it with new eyes. I'm able to see plot holes and weak points more easily. At any one time, I have between two and five books in various stages of development. This way of working probably isn't for most people, but it works for me

4. Do you have a favorite character you've written? If so, what makes them special to you? My favorite character that I've written so far... that's a tough one--like asking a mother to pick her favorite child! But if I have to pick, I'd go with Brooke Michaels, who is the female main character from my Saints & Sinners duet (Good Girl Gone Bad and Bad Boy Gone Good) which is coming out at the end of the year. Brooke starts out as a sheltered, innocent ingĂ©nue, someone who's never broken out of the mold her parents built for her, but over the course of the books, she taps into her intelligence and strength and starts living life on her terms. And it doesn't hurt that she falls in love with the sexy bad boy either!

5. If you could co-author a book with any writer, living or dead, who would it be? Before I fell in love with reading and writing romance, mysteries were my genre of choice. One day, I'd love to try my hand at writing one, so if I could co-write a book with anyone, I'd choose the queen of mystery, Agatha Christie. I'm in awe of how she crafted stories that were both believable and nearly impossible to solve. There's a reason why her books continue to be bestsellers! (And yes, I'd absolutely ask her about what really happened during those infamous 11 days...)

6. What’s next for you as an author? Are there any upcoming projects or ideas you’re excited about? Next up is the third book in the Love in the Limelight series, Every Now and Then. Currently, I'm finishing final edits, so I can get it out to beta readers in the next few weeks. After that, I'm excited to get back to work on finishing up a sports romance book that I've been working on but have yet to finish.

O.U.T Review: CHASE THE DARK by ANNETTE MARIE (Audiobook Version)

TITLE: Chase The Dark AUTHOR: Annette Marie NARRATED: Melissa Moran & Tim Paige RELEASE DATE (Audiobook): MAY 6TH *Given a copy of the Audiobook by Netgalley*  Absolutely loved this story. If anyone has been following me for a while you'll know I'm normally not a fan of 3rd person BUT Annette wrote these characters so well that when Melissa Moran and Tim Paige narrated the character I was able to follow with ease and was fully immersed into the story. I CAN NOT WAIT for the next books to be released on Audiobook so I can enjoy this story as told through Melissa and Tim.  I love lyre, Ash, and piper. Piper is actually pretty refreshing as a FMC in this story because she isn't like one of those that damsel in distress who are whiny and magically and randomly know how to fight.. no she's was raised to fight to protect not necessarily to kill but she kicks ass. She holds her own against those with magic. Now I'm sitting here in suspense waiti...
